How much is it to hire the Space?

Can I come and look at the Space?
We would love to welcome you down to the Space! We’re generally open Monday-Friday 10.30am-5.30pm for drop-ins, or if you’d like to book in a time so that we can chat about your event please contact us on hello@streathamspaceproject.co.uk
When are you open?
Our Bar/Café is open to everyone when we have a public event on - check our What’s On page to find out more! You don’t need a ticket to the event to hang out in our Bar, just come on in of a drink and a chat if you fancy it!
Outside of that we’re generally open Monday-Friday 10.30am-5.30pm for drop ins if you want to see the Space or have a chat, but unfortunately, our Bar/Café isn’t open unless we have an event on.
What time are you open until?
Our usual closing time is 11pm. You can purchase another hour up until midnight for £120 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Can I rearrange/decorate the Space?
You’re welcome to move things around and decorate as you wish – we just ask that we receive the Space back in the same state that it was given in.

Can I have a bouncy castle at my party?
Unfortunately, we do not allow bouncy castles, glitter or confetti. We’re fabulous enough without them…
What kind of events can I hire the space for?
Most things! We’re an arts venue with an incredible theatre space, rehearsal studio and bar/café. You can hire each of these spaces!
Theatre/dance/comedy/music/live podcast performances, rehearsals, R&D, filming, photo shoots, castings, conferences, private parties, awards ceremonies, fashion shows…we’ve seen them all! Get in touch about your event and let us know what you’re up to!
Can I bring my own catering?
Yes! As we don’t serve food at the venue you are very welcome to bring your own for your event. Please note that if you need to use our kitchen for heating up food or cooking, this is £42 p/hr and a £100 cash cleaning deposit. Please note we do not provide cutlery, crockery or utensils.
Do you do seated dining?
Our Bar/Café can hold around 40 people for seated dining. You can add the Studio space to your booking to increase seated dining capacity by 20.
Please note we do not provide table cloths. Dining pre-set (banquet style) is £96.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
We ask that you use our bar for your event - we have a lovely menu of drinks for you to choose from!
If you do want to bring some bottles for your event, we charge a corkage fee:
£8.40 per 70cl bottle of wine or bubbles
£36 per 70cl bottle of spirits
Can I play my own music/bring a DJ?
Our Bar/Café has a PA that you can link a phone/tablet/laptop/decks/microphones up to for all your musical needs – please get in touch with your requirements.
