Arrival Guide

Venue Opening Times

SSP is only open when we have an event on – please check the website for our program of events, with specific times for each one. For drop ins and viewings, we are generally open Monday to Friday, 10.30am to 5.30pm.

Arriving at the venue

You enter the foyer through the main entrance, which then opens out to our bright and airy Bar and Box Office area – please approach the Bar/Box Office and speak to our lovely Front of House team, who will be able to direct you to the Access Officer on shift, who can address any questions, suggestions or concerns you might have.

The Bar area is separate from the main performance area – the Stage Space. Ticket inspection will happen usually around 15 minutes before the show is due to start, and will happen near the main entrance, at the door of the Stage Space. The Duty Manager will announce when they are opening the doors – this is when you will go to the Stage Space doors and present your ticket(s).

If you require early access to an event to avoid crowds, please contact Tali on access@streathamspaceproject.co.uk

Getting your tickets:

There is a wide walkway from the main entrance direct to the lowered Bar where our Box Office is – here you can buy your tickets. To enter the event, tickets can be shown on a device, or you may want to print them out at home, and show these to the Duty Manager when they open the doors for the show – they will announce when they are about to do this on the in-house tannoy.

Toilet Facilities

There is one accessible toilet for visitors, and one backstage for performers. Please see directions with images to our accessible toilets from our Main Stage Space.

Visitors with medical requirements

We welcome attendees who need to bring medicines, food or drink to manage a medical condition, or medical equipment. If you have any concerns, please get in contact with us.

If there is an emergency, please approach our front-of-house staff and ask for the Duty Manager.

Accessible Performances

We currently do not offer Audio Enhancement such as loops, intra red or mobile connect systems. The availability of British Sign Language, Captioning, Audio Description and specific Relaxed Performances are dependent on individual performances - please get in touch to confirm with us.

Assistance Dogs

Assistant dogs are welcome in our venue.

Strobe lighting

Some shows might include the use of strobe-lighting. In such cases, the information will be posted on the event page and there will also be a sign posted on the door.
