Don’t miss the silliest hour of your summer at this hilarious theatre show for the entire family (ages 9+)!

Our young hero, Cal Counters, feels wasted in his hometown of Letterville. In a quest to avenge his family name, he journeys to the big city of Countovia to take on the evil ruler, Count Numbers. Cal must follow in his Grandpa's footsteps and learn to play the ancient game of Battle Counters.

In a classic hero’s journey, Cal will gain friends, fight foes, and face the Battle Counting Robot in one final boss battle. Time to count ‘em up whilst laughing your socks off!!

About the Artists

John Chisham and Christian Loveless are emerging actor-writer-comedians with a passion for making funny things with "a real generosity of spirit" (There Ought To Be Clowns). Their sketches are well-received on Instagram and Tiktok and have been featured on the BBC's social media. They also have a podcast called 'Real Album Reviews', for which they write and record comedy songs, and which spawned the idea for 'Battle Counters', their debut show as a double-act. Battle Counters debuted at The Hope Theatre last summer with "deliciously sharp wit" (Ian Foster) and will be part of the Soho Theatre's Edinburgh Labs before a two-week run at this year's Fringe.
